Offering Toddler, Pre-School, Kindergarten, and Lower Elementary classrooms, we are a community of dedicated parents, grandparents, faculty, and friends working together for a common goal -- to assist in guiding the child to become independent, confident and maintain a strong sense of pride. We provide students with a wide range of meaningful experiences that empower them to explore their world and Kingston invites you to come see why Montessori provides the best start for life.

Mission Statement
The mission of Kingston Montessori Academy (Kingston) is to provide a prepared environment that encourages children to explore, learn, and joyfully master their world. Kingston strives to inspire excellence, nurture curiosity, creativity, and awaken the imagination in every child; thus, enabling the child to learn by self-discovery and to develop the independent skills needed to experience their own unique potential.

Our goal is to assist and guide the child’s development toward becoming a confident and productive individual. The Montessori prepared environment cultivates core values, such as, respect for self and others, responsibility, honesty, integrity, kindness and compassion.

Being inspired by a group of parents, who like you, wanted their children to have the enrichment of a Montessori education, Kingston was established as a private school in 2008 by Cathy Braden. The school is guided by a Board of Directors, operates as a non-profit organization (501c3), and is supported by tuition and donations. Kingston flourishes today because of the combined efforts of all who love the school – its exceptional, dedicated teachers, supportive parents, along with those who have so generously made donations of their time, and money.
Kingston does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, ethnic or national origin in its hiring practices, student admissions or educational policies, classroom methods, athletics or other school administered programs.
